There are many places on the web that will purchase your banjo or take consignments. The most important thing about an instrument is how playable it is, and secondly, its quality of construction. Unfortunately time and wear takes it toll on banjos and most of them are not in good playable condition. The price you ask for you banjo should take into account this fact. Banjo dealers must take numerous steps to provide you with a playable vintage instrument so the price they reasonably can pay you must be somewhat lower than its market selling price.
